Catoosa County Sheriff's Office Accepting Applications For Citizens Police Academy

The Catoosa County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the 2015 Citizens Police Academy. Class #15-01 will start on Tuesday, March 3. The Citizens Police Academy is a free ten week course that meets from 6 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on consecutive Tuesdays. This class will be open to all Catoosa County residents. The Academy provides students with hands-on training and law enforcement knowledge in a friendly environment.

The course is offered by the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office and instructors in this program are Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office employees.

Topics include Constitutional law, conducting traffic stops, use of force, K9 and firearm demonstrations, ride-alongs with deputies and much more. Our goal is to build a closer bond with the citizens of Catoosa County through communication and education.  Don't miss out; sign up for Class #15-01 now!
