Leona Wilbanks Williamson, 85, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare.
Mrs. Williamson was born Jan. 8, 1930, in Trion, Ga., the daughter of the late Hermon Wilbanks and Lily Maxwell Wilbanks. She was retired from Home Depot.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Ludie Williamson; a daughter, Loretta Sanders; a son, Charles Williamson; and sisters, Frances Spraggins and Ann Elliott.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Bruce; brothers, Bud Wilbanks and Earl Wilbanks; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside and interment services will be held at Greenhills Memory Gardens on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at 2:30 p.m., with Reverend Tom Russell officiating. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Mrs. Williamson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30.
