LaVonda Brown Gentry, 43, of Dalton, GA, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015.
LaVonda loved her family, the beach, sunrises and sunsets, and singing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Yvonne Brown; and her mother-in-law, Louise Gentry.
LaVonda is survived by her husband, Tommy Gentry of Dalton; father, Kenneth Brown Sr.; sons and daughter-in-law, Tonder and Candy Gentry and Heath Gentry, all of Dalton; grandchildren, Tristan Gentry and Zachary Gentry; brother, Ken Brown Jr. of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stephanie and Garry Seay of Dalton, Cortney and Jason Earwood of Dalton and Tiffany and Lee Dillard of Kansas; brothers-in-law and wives, Steve and Joy Gentry, Tony Gentry, Bruce and Angela Gentry and Dylan and Marrene Gentry, all of Dalton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 1 at 3 p.m. at Church of God of The Union Assembly with Rev. Lonnie Starnes and Rev. Charlie Pratt officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday, January 31 from 5-9 p.m. and at the church Sunday, February 1 from 1:30 p.m. until time of the service.
