Jean Carroll
Jean P. Carroll, 93, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, October 9, 2015.
A native of Texas, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area most of her life. A member of the East Ridge Presbyterian Church since 1968, she was also retired from American Hoechst Dyes and Chemicals.
She was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Mary Phillips and was preceded in death by four brothers, Bob, Jim, Roger and David Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy V. Carroll; two daughters, Linda (Sumanote) Bunnag and Licia Carroll; son, Tom (Ann) Carroll; two grandchildren, Greg Carroll and Lauren (Jim) Lewis; one great-grandson, Jensen Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the East Ridge Presbyterian Church with the Reverend J.R. Caines officiating. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
