Brian Leon Barclay, 39, died on September 22, 2015 at Erlanger Medical Center.
He attended Brainerd High School where he was a member of the marching band.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph C. Barclay and Julia M. Barclay; his father, Larry Braswell; his uncles, Joseph Barclay Jr. and George E. Barclay.
He is survived by his mother, Austine L. Barclay; stepfather, Willie G. Sorrell; his sister, Nicole (Chris) Brown; his sons, Demetrius Barclay and LaDarius Barclay; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at Orchard Park Church with Pastor Martin Lister officiating.
The body will lie -in state on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 12-7 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home.
