Betty Eloise Jones, born on March 31, 1923, died on September 30, 2015 in her home.

A native of Chattanooga, she worked in the community and at Gulas’ Restaurant on McCallie Avenue. She was loved by so many and everyone she met was touched by her in some way.

Betty was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Gary) Smallan; granddaughter, Michelle Pafford; grandson, Chris (Tessie) Pafford and their three daughters; niece, Peggy (Ken) Burke and family; and all extended family and friends.

Thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga, all the nurses, CNA’s, social workers, and chaplain for all the care and friendship they provided.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Lane Funeral Home with internment to follow at Tyner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Humane Society of Chattanooga, 212 N Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
