Frances Martha Dyer, 70, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the local hospital.
Frances was born Feb. 22, 1945 in Murphy, NC to the late Ross and Virgie Green Hedden; and was also preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Hedden; and brothers, Hilyard Hedden, Archie Hedden, Ronnie Hedden and Beecher Hedden.
She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, David Dyer of Dalton, GA; son, Clark Eddie Dyer of Dalton GA; sisters-in–law, Mildred Woods, of Murphy, NC, Deloris Guthrie of Murphy, NC, Frances Anderson of Dalton, GA and Nancy Hedden of Dalton, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Martha Dyer will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating. She will be laid to rest at Dunnagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 and after 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 until the service hour.
