John Eubanks
John W. Eubanks, Sr. 94, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Lora Eubanks on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was residing at Creekside Retirement Apt. until his death.
John was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Walker County, to the late Griff and Lilliebee Eubanks. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Liner and Virginia Starr, and two brothers, Jack and Bud Eubanks.
He was a sergeant with the Army Air Corps stationed in England during World War II.
John retired as a district manager from American General Life Insurance Co. after 42 years of service. Prior to serving in the Army Air Corps., he attended Martha Berry School and worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He attended Brainerd Baptist Church and was a member of the Alhambra Shrine Temple and a 50 year member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge #297.
Survivors include his sister, Eva Liner, son, John W. (Bill) Eubanks, Jr., daughter-in-law, Miam Booker-Eubanks, granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Eubanks, grandson, William Jacob Eubanks, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, at noon in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Brady Wood and son, Bill Eubanks of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

His final wish was that all of his loved ones, family members, friends and anyone else, who were not saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, come to know him as Savior so that he would see us again one day in Heaven. God's blessings to all who read this and have been a part of John Eubanks life.
