Robert Cordell, 85, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Tuesday night, Oct. 6, 2015 at his home.
He served in The United States Air Force and was stationed in Alaska during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ota K. Cordell.
He is survived by his wife, Merrell Cordell; three daughters, Teresa Johnson, Ooltewah, Susan (Bill) McNabb, Chattanooga, and Becky (Lynn) Hicks, Dunlap; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Kay Browder, Scottsborough, Al.; and one nephew.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, at 3 p.m. CDT at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
