Phillip Carl “Buzz” McElroy, 54, of Decatur, Tennessee, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Letner) McElroy; and was also preceded in death by his brother, James McElroy; and sisters, Margaret McElroy and Kathy Travis.
He is survived by his sisters, Sue and (Roger) Coker and Lisa McElroy; brothers, Bobby and Billy McElroy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral will be held in the chapel at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 with the Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating.
Interment will be in Mtn. View Memorial Gardens Friday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Bowers Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
