Closed Door Entertainment Has Casting Call For Child Performers

Closed Door Entertainment is looking for child performers for its season finale production: Children of Eden.  Performances will be Dec. 11-13 at the Memorial Auditorium.

No experience is needed - only a willingness to follow directions.

The casting call will be at the CDE Loft, 105 Maple St. in Rossville on Nov. 30 from 6-6:30 p.m. 

Participants are not asked to bring anything.  Directors are looking to fill about 30 slots for animals, so all the child needs to be able to do is have a conversation with the director and assistant director, and make their favorite animal sound. There is no singing involved, so a song is not necessary.

Ater the Casting Call, participants selected will be notified by email. The performers will be needed on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6-7 p.m. for costume fitting, and on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10-11 a.m. for rehearsal.  These two times will be at the CDE Loft.

After that, performers will be needed for Tech Week the following week, which will be Monday - Thursday from 6-9 p.m.

Performances are slated for Dec. 11 at 10 a.m., Dec. 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 12 and 13 at 2 p.m., and will call time is 1.5 hours prior to show. Tech Week and performances will all be at Memorial Auditorium.
