Peggy T. Martin, 73, formerly of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015.
She was a member of LaFayette First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Martin; parents, J.B. and Drennie Thornton; and sister, Elizabeth Ann Thornton.
She is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Chris) Quinn, Seabrook Island, SC; sons, Phillip T. Martin of Chandler, NC, Carlton T. (Meredith) Martin, Fayetteville, GA, Richard D. and Chandler A. (Laura) Martin, both of Fernandina, FL; sister, Carol (Kim) Millican, Chickamauga; sisters-in-law, Annette (Sonny) Huggins and Zealaine Martin of LaFayette; and grandchildren, Sarah Quinn, Jeremy, James, David, Amanda and Bryce Martin.
Funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at the LaFayette First Baptist Church with Dr. Warren Moorhead officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kimelan Millican, Kelly Millican, Lee Millican, Charlie Huggins, Marty Huggins, Brad Huggins, Ben Huggins and Cris Clark.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Nov. 21 from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mount Carmel Cemetery, in care of Mrs. Waymond Akins, 3205 Foster Mill Drive, LaFayette, GA 30728.
