Third Candidate Gets In Assessor's Race

A third candidate has gotten into the Hamilton County Assessor's race after it appeared it would be a two-man contest. 

County Commissioner Marty Haynes and former assessor employee Sterling Jetton announced early. 

After 31 years in the Assessor’s Office, Randy Johnston announced he will also run.

All three candidates are running as Republicans.  

Assessor Bill Bennett and former assessor Claude Ramsey are supporting Mr. Jetton.
