Charles Grady West, 80, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, November 24, 2015 surrounded by family.
He was retired from Central Soya Feedmill after many years of service. He enjoyed being in the outdoors whether being in the garden or on the Riverbanks fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Edna West; wife, Billie Wheeler West; son, Randy West; sisters, Elizabeth Gass, Alma Lance and Rebecca Moon; and brothers, Oscar West Jr., William West, Jimmy West and Luther West;
Survivors include sons, Roger (Trisha) West of Trenton, GA and Larry (Cheryl) West of Burlington, KS; step-daughters, Angie (Floyd) Thurman of Trenton, GA, Sherry Corriher of Huntsville, AL, Paula Thomas of Rossville, GA, Donna (Charles) Craft of Dayton, TN and Pam (Jerome) Shrader of Trenton, GA; step-sons, Lenny Prince of Rossville, GA and Tim (Vickie) Prince of Trenton, GA; sister, Willadeen Moon of Trenton, GA; grandsons, Robert and William West; granddaughter, Dacey West; seven great- grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27 at Brown’s Gap Cemetery with Rev. John Jones officiating.
