Retired From Southern Railroad After 30 Years

Bill V. Campbell, 88, of Chattanooga, died at Hospice of Chattanooga on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, born on Nov. 26, 1926. He was of the Baptist faith. Bill retired form Southern Railroad after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Belle Campbell; brothers, Garnett and Max Campbell; Nephews, Brian and Ron Campbell.

He is survived by his nephews, Gary, Wayne, and David Campbell.

Graveside services will be held at Chattanooga Memorial Park (Duck Pond) on Friday, Nov. 27, at 1:30 p.m.

The family will receive friends on Friday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
