Lynn Talbott, owner and founder of HR Business Solutions, received two awards from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center on Oct. 14. She won both the 2015 Small Business Person of the Year Award and a Rising Star Award.
“I am honored to receive these awards from the TSBDC. The staff has been instrumental in the success of my company," said Ms. Talbott.
"This important recognition of Lynn’s commitment to the community highlights her skills in leadership, rapport-building, and effective communication in meeting her clients’ needs.
She teaches free bookkeeping classes at the BDC on the North Shore. Lynn’s community involvement includes mentoring in UTC’s College of Business program, being a sustaining member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, and serving as Treasurer for the Chattanooga Technology Council," officials said.
