Tickets On Sale For Bryan's Fire Arts Concert Dona Nobis Pacem

  • Tuesday, November 3, 2015

Ticket sales were opened Monday for the upcoming fine arts concert Dona Nobis Pacem Friday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Review for Dona Nobis Pacem:

This concert promises to enchant attendees with selections from throughout the years and as far back as the 18th century. It will be performed by soloists and choral ensemble, accompanied by orchestra, performing a variety of lovely pieces, such as Craig Courtney’s “Festival Gloria,” “If I Can’t Love Her” from Menkin and Rice’s Beauty and the Beast, selections from Edward Elgar’s Dream Children, and Mozart’s “Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major.” After intermission the evening transitions into the concert’s namesake with a stunning rendition of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ cantata Dona Nobis Pacem (Latin for “grant us peace”).

Tickets are $8 for non-Bryan College students and $10 for adults and may be purchased over the phone through the Box Office at 775-7500 or in person in Rudd 303 with check, cash, or credit card. Further information is available by calling 775-7498.
