Oh Where Or Where

  • Monday, March 16, 2015

"Oh where, oh where does my little lamb go," so says the nursery rhyme learned by millions of children, but now those children are grown and continue to recite the rhyme hoping the public like the gullible child will react and begin searching for the lost lamb.  Oh where, oh where am I going with this?

There was and is a Republican Congressman that once said women being raped have a built-in defense mechanism that will not allow the girl being raped to get pregnant.   Ted Cruz just recited his wish to do away with the law on the books for Common Core Educational Standards, there is no such law, and Steven King made that now famous observation that Mexicans coming across the border had legs like ham hocks cause they are carrying drugs.

On and on the parade of these folks that represent this country make statements that go beyond stupid and yet, we the sheep, vote for them and continue to vote for them. Oh where or where is reason and further, intelligence with the voting public?

In just a very short time we will be electing a new president and the gallery that is representative of the candidates should take heed with the American public should be aware (bet they are) that the American people may choose the one candidate with reasoned consideration.  I hope so, anyway.
