Dixie Marie Stalvey Thornburg, 85, of East Ridge, died on March 23, 2015 in a local health care center.
A native of Rising Fawn, Mrs. Thornburg spent most of her life in East Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Thornburg and her sister, Ruth Lee.
Survivors are her sons, Ed (Lynda) Thornburg, Kingston, TN, and Danny (Danah) Thornburg, Ringgold; brother, Ted Stalvey, Nashville; grandsons, Brian and Todd Thornburg; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Karli, Jesslyn, Todd, Blake, Caleb and Isaac; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, March 27, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Harold McClure officiating. Burial will be private.
