Kenneth “Kenny” Newton, 62, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday March 22, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was the son of the late Fred and Emma Ruth Newton. Kenny was a devout and faithful member of Trinity Chapel where he played the bass guitar. He was also a member of the gospel group Christian Gospel Aires.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Newton; daughters, Renae St. Amand and her husband Patrick of Surprise, AZ and Amanda Crable and her husband Brandon of Hampton VA; sons, Nicholas Townsend and Matthew Townsend both of Cleveland; grandchildren, Alysia Hayes, Chase St. Amand, Kaylie Brandon and Harper Crable, Jeremiah, Eva, Landon and Cadance Townsend; sisters, Diane Lynch of Dan of Meadows VA, Tina Wesson of New York, NY and Lisa Newton of Hampton VA; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27 at Trinity Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Bishop officiating. The interment will follow in the Charleston cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 26 from 5-7 p.m. and Friday, March 27 from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
