Ooltewah Softball Takes Wins At Oak Ridge Tournament

Ooltewah softball took two opening wins at the Oak Ridge Tournament.

Sophomore Jadyn Raschke struck out six and gave up one hit in a 14-0 victory over Loudon.

 Kayla  Boseman was 3-4 with a home run and a triple.  She had 3 RBIs.

Tiera Lemon was 3-3 with two runs scored.

Shelby Sutton was 2-3 with a run batted in.

Bailey Kennedy was 2-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Ooltewah also handed Knox Carter only its second loss of the season against 11 wins.

Boseman pitched the five-inning game won by the Lady Owls 11-2. She struck out seven and gave up three hits. She is now 5-0.

Boseman, a freshman who has already committed to Mississippi State, had two hits and scored twice.

Sophomore Lemon was 3-3 and scored twice. Allie Jones was 2-2 with two runs batted in. Sutton was 2-3  with an RBI.

Ooltewah is now 9-1.
