Chattanooga Rail Runners Defeat Memphis, 93-84

East Ridge High School alum Alex Wells scored 32 points and former Baylor School star Jonathan Adams added 14 as the Chattanooga Rail Runners defeated Memphis, 93-84, in the Central Basketball Association season opener Saturday night at Brainerd High School. Former UTC player Dontay Hampton scored 12.
 
Memphis led 42-40 at halftime, but the Rail Runners outscored Memphis 24-14 in the third quarter for a 64-56 lead.
 
The Soul Kings were led by Ed Graves with 17 points.
