Two of Chattanooga’s unique music ensembles will perform their seventh annual joint concert in the Dora Maclellan Brown Memorial Chapel at Covenant College on Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m.
In this ongoing “Battle of Woodwinds and Brass,” the Chattanooga Clarinet Choir and Jericho Brass each perform about 20 minutes of music and then combine to play some selections together. This year, the ensembles will perform together Verdi’s La Forza Del Destino Overture and the Anchor’s Aweigh march. This concert is free and all are welcome to attend.
The Jericho Brass, a traditional British-style band has provided music in Chattanooga and surrounding communities since 1998.
