Mary Ann Burns, 82, died on April 14, 2015, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

Mary Ann was a long-time member of Oakwood Baptist Church (Chattanooga) and had retired from Parkridge Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas C. Burns, parents Joe and Lena Turk, and sisters Boots Cofer and Betty Morgan. 

Mary Ann is survived by three daughters, Rebecca (John) Hooper, Chattanooga, Liz Burns and Carla Silas, both of Virginia; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her brother, Larry J. Turk.  

Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Ken Clark officiating. 

The family will be meeting at 12:15 p.m. on Friday at the National Cemetery office for the service.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
