Screening Of PlantPure Nation Is April 16

Dr. T. Colin Campbell. author of the New York Times'  bestseller, "The China Study" and "Whole" will be in Chattanooga Thursday, April 16, promoting the new documentary PlantPure Nation. 

The screening of the film, which will be released in July, will be at 7 p.m. at Carmike East Ridge 18.  There will be a question and answer session after the screening. with Dr. Campbell and Nelson Campbell, director of PlantPure Nation. 

Dr. Campbell was previously featured in the documentary "Forks Over Knives." He is considered the foremost expert in nutrition in the world for his original research and foundation of nutritional studies at Cornell, said officials. 

Dr. Campbell will preview the new movie in Chattanooga for one night. Dr. Campbell spoke to packed auditoriums here last year.  

The movie also has a local flavor in that Chattanooga Heart Institute cardiologist, James L. Marcum MD FACC, was interviewed about  the importance of plant- based nutrition in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
