BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Regions Field was packed to capacity Friday night. The Lookouts made it 5-of-6 wins over the Barons capped by a 10-inning victory tonight, 7-5.

Since May 1, Miguel Sano has been hitting really well. In the first inning of this game, he hit his seventh home run of the season. He came to the plate in the 10th inning with a runner on base and a tie game. He launched his second home run of the night, his eighth of the year, and propelled the Lookouts to the win. He went 3-for-5 on the day. Since May 1, Sano is hitting .315/.375/.630 (1.005) with five doubles, four homers and 11 RBI.

Jorge Polanco also went 3-5 in the game. Travis Harrison went 2-5 with his 12th double Adam Brett Walker and Miguel Gonzales both had two hits as well.

Twins No. 1 prospect, Byron Buxton, continues to struggle at the plate. in his most recent ten games, he has hit .150/.200/.275 (.475) with a triple and a homer. He struck out in 20% of those plate appearances. Buxton, went 0-for-5 in Friday's game.

Sano's proved to be the game-winning hit in the series finale. Chattanooga reliever Nick Burdi picked up his third win of the year while D.J. Johnson received the save. Barons right-hander J.B. Wendelken was charged for the loss and Miguel Chalas was faulted with a blown save.

Lookouts starter, D. J. Baxendale, was roughed up but finished with a no-decision. He gave up four runs on eight hits, finishing with a 1.96 ERA.

Birmingham led the game 4-1 going into the top of the seventh. Chattanooga plated two runs to bring the Lookouts within one run, and took a 5-4 lead with one run in the ninth inning.

Birmingham forced extra innings with a run in the final frame of regulation. Jeremy Farrell doubled to lead off the inning and a Lemon sacrifice bunt pushed the veteran to third. With just the one out on the board, Jacob May ripped a single to right to score Farrell.

Tied 5-5 going into the 10th, Wendelken was brought on to pitch to the heart of the order. Two-spot hitter Jorge Polanco reached on a fielding error with Sano on deck. On an 0-2 pitch, the Twins No. 2 prospect lifted a high fly to left field that reached the VisionFirst Home Run Porch bleachers to put the Lookouts ahead by two. Johnson then retired the Barons side in the bottom half of the inning to seal the win.
