Betty June McClure Howard, 88, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Monday, May 18, 2015.
A resident of the Ringgold area for the past 39 years, she was a member of Yates Springs Full Gospel Church in Ringgold.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William Howard Sr.; father, Horace McClure; mother, Pearly Jane Hayes Ash; and three daughters, Patsy Thomas, Dorothy Lynn Howard and Amelia Jane Howard.
She is survived by five children, Roger “Fish” Frisch, of Rossville, Paul Howard of Oregon, Dixie Young of Dalton, Nancy Holcomb (Tim) of Ringgold, and Junior Howard (Deborah) of Tunnel Hill; brother, Leroy McClure of Rossville; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Yates Springs Full Gospel Church with Brother Tim Dennison officiating.
She will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow at Silverdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, from 4-9 p.m. and until noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
