Mary Louise Usher, 74, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in a local hospital.  

She retired from HealthSouth as a nurse. She was a faithful member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Someone To Care Ministry. 

She was preceded in death by mother, Carrie Smith Rice; sisters, Nora Lee Crutcher and Ella Mae Foust; uncle, Junior Smith; and aunt, Hattie Smith. 

Survivors include her ex-husband, Frank O. Usher, Sr.; son, Frank O. Usher, Jr. of Atlanta; daughter, Anntanella Denise Usher (Pierre) Willingham of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Marquise (Larry) Mitchell, Jasmine Montgomery, Frank O. Usher III, all of Chattanooga, and Frankesha Usher of Atlanta; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert L. (Catrina) Rice of Chattanooga and Thomas N. (LaRita) Rice of Atlanta; aunt, Katrina Smith of Huntsville, AL; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. 

She will lie in state on Friday, May 1, after noon at Taylor Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 2, at 12:30 p.m. at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Jackson as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home.
