Mike "Ham" Hammontree, 63, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tiss and Max Hammontree; grandparents, Macie and Deed Hammontree and Winnie and Clyde Travillian; and father-in-law, Hubert Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hammontree of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Amie and Chris Beavers of Villanow; mother-in-law, Pauline Edwards of Tunnel Hill; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Billy Cantrell of Dalton and Janice and Rod Bagby of Rocky Face; grandchild, Braylen Beavers; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. John Dallas officiating. Burial will be in Dunnagan Cemetery. A White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 3, from 5-8 p.m.
