Bobbie Hogan
Bobbie Rogers Hogan, 80, of Chattanooga, died on May 21, 2015.
Affectionately known as “Nana,” Bobbie fought a strong and courageous battle with cancer three times.
She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she worked in the kitchen and Bible School for many years.
She was an avid bowler in her earlier years and enjoyed sewing, visiting the beach and going to Cherokee. Bobbie retired from Planters Snacks after over 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lula Rogers; brothers, Ed, June and Rev. Arlie Rogers and sister, Yvonne “Nonnie” Oliver.
Survivors are her daughters, Jana Harris and Cindy Hogan; granddaughters, Heather Phelps and Tara Harris; great-grandson, Oliver Phelps all of Chattanooga; sisters, Carol (Gil) Moon, Chattanooga and Linda (Freddie) Waters, Birchwood; brother, Fred (Mary) Rogers, Red Bank and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Terry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
