UTC Men's Hoops: For the McCalls "It's A Girl!"

Another New York City-themed Name??

Their first daughter is named Brooklyn, so could little sister - due in September - follow suit and be christened "Queens"?

And if there is a little brother down the road, will his name be "Bronx"?

UTC men's basketball coach Matt McCall was told by his wife, Allison - a New York City native - this past Friday night during dinner that their second child is a girl.

"I am thrilled that our baby is a girl, and of course, any dad is lying if he says he doesn't want a son," said coach McCall Monday.

"The main thing is we just want a healthy baby and I know Brooklyn will be a great big sister."

And a name for Brooklyn's younger sister?

Will the couple continue the New York City borough-themed name?

"As we did with Brooklyn, we will keep the name of this child a secret from everyone until she is born.," coach McCall stated.

The new hoops coach gave some hope for a son if the couple decide to have a third child.

"I have two older sisters, and Allison has a brother and sister so maybe we will continue the family tradition with two girls and a boy."

And if five kids are in the future for the McCalls there are two more NY City Borough names  - Manhattan and  Staten Island - still available.

A perfect number for a traveling basketball team.
