Devante Stoudemire
Devante "White Chalk" Stoudemire has been given a 15-year prison sentence for his part in the July 2, 2012, murder of Steve Mosley.
Stoudemire, 22, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to second-degree murder.
Prosecutor Lance Pope said Stoudemire supplied the gun to Ronald Cosper, who was given a life sentence for shooting the victim three times when he fought back during a robbery.
He said Stoudemire waited nearby while Cosper went to the residence of the marijuana dealer on North Hawthorne Street. Dustin Hayes had driven them to a location nearby.
The prosecutor said Stoudemire must serve the sentence at 100 percent except for 15 percent credits he can earn.
Stoudemire was also charged in the November 2010 slaying of JerMichael Richardson. He spent over a year in jail awaiting trial, but it was finally dismissed.
The Mosley killing happened while Stoudemire was out on bond on the first murder.
