Lois H. Pell, 96, of Lookout Valley, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Pell was of the Free Holiness faith and a humble, dedicated Christian woman. She enjoyed painting, sewing and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joe Pell, sons, Mackey and LeRoy Pell, daughter, Dorothy Mansel, four sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her loving family, sons, Delain (Lois) Pell, Edward (Janet) Pell, and Donnie Pell; daughters, Linda Shields, Fredia Prince, & Melva Williams;  she was blessed with 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, at noon in the South Crest Chapel with burial to follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8.  from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
