First Baptist Youth Choir Performs At Morning Pointe

  • Friday, June 12, 2015

The First Baptist Church Youth Choir from Chester, S.C., stopped by three of the Morning Pointe assisted living communities in the Chattanooga area to share their musical talents with residents of the assisted living communities.

The group performed at Morning Pointe of Hixson, Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Collegedale. Residents were delighted with the choirs performances of hymns such as Amazing Grace, Down to the River to Pray and Go Down Moses and many agreed that this was one of the best choirs they have ever seen.

Led by John Gaston and accompanied by chaperones, the group of more than 20 traveled many hours to share their love and appreciation for music with Morning Pointe residents.
