Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing Set Wednesday On Travis McDonough Nomination For Federal Judge

Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander will introduce federal judge nominee Travis McDonough at a hearing in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

The Senate Judiciary Committee nomination hearing will also involve Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr., who has been nominated to serve as a United States District Court judge for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Mr. McDonough, an attorney who is currently the chief of staff for Mayor Andy Berke, has been nominated to serve as a United States District Court judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

That is the seat now held by Judge Curtis Collier, who is taking senior status.

The hearing will begin at 1:30 p.m. and is scheduled to be webcast live here.
