Annie McDonald, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, June 26, 2015 in a Nashville health care facility.

She was a member of Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church where she was an original member of the Friendship Good Neighbor Club and The Sister’s Aid Society.  She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, past Matron, and Tennessee Women Federation of Chattanooga.  After moving to Nashville, she joined Lee Chapel AME Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom McDonald; sons, Jack Sutton, Jr. and Charles Sutton William Labaron. 

Survivors include her daughter, Bettye Sutton of Fitzgerald, Ga.; son, James Sutton of Chattanooga; grandson/son, Karlton (Jacqueline) Sutton of Nashville; grandchildren, Antonio Sutton, Venus Labaron both of Nashville, Sherri (Steven Pryor) Sutton, and Labron Sutton of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Marquese Fuget, D’Ashli Sutton, Chelsea Sutton, Breana Sutton all of Nashville, Theadra Sutton, and Demetrious Pryor; great-great-grandchild, Kamani Sutton of Nashville; sister, Lucille Lee of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law, Corine Spangler of Town Creek, Al.; a host of godchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and close friends and beloved church members. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, from 3-6 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Friday, July 3, at 11 a.m. at Greater Friendship Primitive Church with the funeral to follow at noon with Pastor James Penny as the eulogist. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
