Wenfred Howington
Wenfred A. Howington, 86, of Harrison, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
He was the son of the late Fred Franklin Howington and Emma Louisa Silvers Howington and was preceded in death by his son, Terry Michael Howington, brother, Richard Howington, sister, Jean Pierce and niece, Kimberly Leamon.
Wenfred retired after 34 years of service with the Royal Desoto Company. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ester Mae Howington, of Harrison, three children, Steve (Kathy) Howington, of Rossville, Connie (Rick) Wheat, of Ponde Vedra Beach, FL, Larry Howington, of South FL, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Sue Howington Tingle, of Chattanooga, brother, Leon (Irene) Howington, of Harrison, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 3, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend DaRon Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Calhoun, GA.
The family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, at the funeral home.
