Fred Keasler, 76, died unexpectedly at home on July 24, 2015.

“Peep-peep” was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The love, peace, patience, and kindness that he provided to those around him will be greatly missed. He loved the Big Orange and donated his body for scientific and medical research to the University of Tennessee Anthropology Department.

He was born in Chicago, to the late William and Evelyn Keasler. He graduated from Columbia Military Academy and Tennessee Technological University and retired from a career at Combustion Engineering. He was a member of White Oak Church of Christ and served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Ann B. Keasler, sons, Jeff (Sheila) Keasler, Chris (Cindy) Keasler and daughter, Kara (Justin) Fortune; grandchildren, Taylor (Matthew) Keasler Reed, Ross Keasler, Allie Keasler, Caroline Fortune, and Addie Fortune.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 27, at White Oak Church of Christ, 2229 Lyndon Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, followed by a memorial service. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of life, immediately following, in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Boyd-Buchanan School, 4650 Buccaneer Trail, Chattanooga, Tn. 37411.
