Last week, Chattanooga’s Gig City Productions presented singer-songwriter Lera Lynn, born in Texas, raised in Georgia, and now based in Nashville, who self-released her sophomore album, The Avenues (out now), which continues to receive praise and critical acclaim from many sources.

Lera Lynn is a songwriter, who co-wrote and performs the song “The Only Thing Worth Fighting For”  featured in the True Detective season. The album “ The Avenues” was covered by NPR’s popular “All Things Considered,” and appeared in the “Top 50 Albums of the Year” from American Songwriter (ranking #14), Rolling Stone, Huffington Post and numerous other “Best Albums of the Year” lists.

She was recently a featured guest on the David Letterman show.

The Camp House hosted her recent performance to a seated and standing room only crowd.

The Camp House is a coffee shop, venue, and multi-purpose building at the intersection of Chattanooga’s City Center, MLK, and UTC neighborhoods, featuring some of the best espresso in the entire city, along with a full hand-crafted food menu. The Mission’s City Center Chapel meets at the Camp House on Sunday, and the building is also used for private events like weddings and receptions, concerts and other open events like Theology on Tap.

The Camp House promotes some of the best local Chattanooga entertainment. To learn more, explore The Camp House website or stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee at 149 E. ML King Blvd.
