Police Blotter: Woman Does Not Return To Car Lot With Borrowed Maxima; Elderly "Stalker" Drops Pants At Walmart

Police said a woman borrowed a car from Best Motors on Long Street and advised that she was going to the bank, then would be back.

But the woman, who was with three other black females, did not return with the 1999 Nissan Maxima.

The four-door vehicle has chrome wheels.

The woman left a driver's license, but police said it may not have belonged to the woman who took the car.

Police were summoned to the cement plant on Suck Creek Road to stand by while an employee was questioned about having a gun at work.

The plant manager said it was reported that the worker had the gun in violation of company policy.

The man admitted that on some occasions he has had a gun in his vehicle at work.

When asked if he had a gun in his lunch box, he said, "Obviously, I don't abide by your rules. I quit."

He then walked out, got in his vehicle, and left.

The manager of the Walgreens on East Brainerd Road said three black females were caught on video putting items of makeup in their large purses.

They left without stopping at the cash register.

They drove off in a Chrysler van with Michigan plates. The tag number was searched, but came back as not on file.

The store is missing some $500 in makeup.

An employee of Little Caesar's on East Brainerd Road said two men came in to pick up a pizza.

The employee said one was wearing a T-shirt that looked like it had ISIS symbols. It showed a man wearing a turban with his face half covered and a sword on his chest.

A fellow employee said it appeared to match ISIS shirts as depicted online.

A female employee at Walmart on Signal Mountain Road said she believes an elderly white man is stalking her.

She said he always makes sure to get in her line.

She said on one occasion his pants "fell down" in front of her, revealing his underwear.

He said his pants were too big and he did not have a belt.

A woman on Peerless Avenue said she had another incident with her landlord/neighbor.

She said she heard her water running outside and looked out.

She said she saw her landlord running from her house with a pitcher of water.

When she asked what he was doing, she said he replied, "Mind your own ---- business."
