Ryan Greer, 43, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly beating his child and her mother with a belt and then fighting officers who tried to take him into custody.

When police arrived at Marigold Drive on a call about a domestic disturbance, the mother said that she was working on her fingernails when her daughter came inside the home.

The victim said that Greer, who she said was intoxicated at the time, began yelling at both of them.

The daughter told Greer to not talk to her because he had been drinking, which is when he allegedly grabbed a belt and began to hit her.

The mother said that she jumped in the way to protect her daughter and was struck as well. She said that Greer then grabbed her around the throat and her daughter began punching him to get him to stop.

A police report states that when an officer tried to take Greer into custody, he shoved the officer into a wall and struck him on the neck.

The report goes on to say that he was tazed and taken to the ground, but he still tried to hit officers while being put in handcuffs.
