Travis Womack, 28, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and her eight-year-old son.

The victim said that her boyfriend came home and got in bed, but she told him she did not want to have sex because her son was still up.

She then fell asleep but was awakened by an intoxicated Womack who was hitting her on the top of her head.

She said that she then got up and told him to leave, but he began kicking her. At this point her son entered the room and started to yell at the defendant.

The victim said that Womack then made a move toward her son, which prompted her to pick him up and take him into another room.

She stated that Womack followed them into the room and began assaulting them again, and that her son was hit when he tried to jump in between the defendant and his mother.

She was eventually able to get away and instructed her son to run to her mother’s home.

However, the defendant left the area after breaking her phone in half and taking the keys to her car.

Police did not observe any physical injuries to either victim, but noticed they were both visibly shaken and upset.
