The public is invited to join Lady Cynthia Adams and the ladies of Olivet Baptist Church for the A.R.I.S.E. Women’s Conference 2015 on Thursday, Sept. 10 through Saturday, Sept. 12.

The theme for the conference is: “We are God’s Masterpiece," from Ephesians 2:10.

"We are excited about coming together as women, celebrating and learning from one another, affirming each person’s unique design and discovering how we fit together in the mosaic that is God’s masterpiece," organizers said.

And as part of the  pre-conference experience, Lady Wenda Johnson will share at a noon-day Bible Study service on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and can be heard on WNOO on that same day. The evening worship services are open to everyone and begin nightly at 6:30 p.m. at the church sanctuary, 740 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The speaker for Thursday evening will be Pastor Sheryl Randolph of Destiny Church in Chattanooga.  The speaker for Friday’s service will be motivational speaker, recording artist, and author of the book “Hiding Behind The Lipstick,"  Myesha Chaney of Antioch Church, Long Beach, Ca.

The “For Ladies Only” workshop sessions on Saturday will include facilitators, Minister Mary Tucker, Minister Rita Carr and Dr. Sharon Cannon, teaching on subjects such as “Removing The Mask: Free To Be Real,” “Walking In Your Destiny,” and Loving The Skin I’m In.”

The Conference will conclude with an Empowerment Luncheon with Dr. Vonda Ware as the inspirational speaker and special music by Gospel recording artist Tiffany Coleman.

Call Olivet at 423-266-8709 ext. 221 for more information or visit obcministries.org to register.  Tickets are $20 for Saturday’s educational sessions and Empowerment Luncheon.
