Hannah Faith Greene’s week long journey to the Bahamas concluded on Saturday night with a third runner-up finish at the Miss Teen USA Pageant for the senior at Girls Preparatory School.

The pageant, which was held at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, was won by Louisiana’s Katherine Haik.  Miss Greene is the seventh Miss Tennessee Teen USA to place in the top five nationally but the first ever Teen USA third runner-up from the state.

The 17-year-old daughter of Dr. Christopher and Marianne Greene will conclude her year of service in October when the state pageant is held in Clarksville.  The aspiring OB/GYN and Honors student who is an active community service volunteer for several area organizations including the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House and the Boys and Girls Clubs, remains undecided about where she will attend college next Fall.   Standing at six feet tall, Miss Greene is a GPS Ambassador and is involved in numerous extra-curricular activities including the National Honor Society, Key Club, Beta Club, Cross-Country and Track and the Health Club.

A classical pianist for 12 years, Miss Greene was Miss Chattanooga’s Outstanding Teen 2014 and was the fourth runner-up at the state pageant last year.
