A group of 13 second-year nursing students from the Seventh-day Adventist College near Tokyo, Japan came to the United States to learn about the medical and senior care facilities in America.

Morning Pointe Assisted Living of Collegedale and the Lantern Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence were proud to be on their lists of stops to showcase the best in senior living.

Hosted by Southern Adventist University, the students spent almost three weeks in the U.S. taking nursing assessment and English classes, along with exploring the medical field and health care industry.

The medical facilities they toured were Morning Pointe, The Lantern, Life Care Nursing Home and Gordon Hospital.
