The Dalton State soccer Roadrunners remained unbeaten as they won the first-ever home match at Lakeshore Park in Dalton, 3-0, over Milligan College.

Freshman forward Ramiro Guerrero (Dalton) scored the first Roadrunner goal just 4:30 into the game off of an assist from Ibrahima Sissoko.  Freshman mid-fielder Jose Vallalobos (Heredia, Costa Rica) scored with 23:42 left in the half off of an assist from freshman forward Tomide Adabele (Atlanta) who also scored the game’s the final goal with 15:12.

“It was great to get up 3-0 in the first half,” said Coach Kerem Daser.

“The other team showed a lot of discipline. Give them credit. All of our guys up front are dangerous. Defensively we’re getting better. Our goal keeper (Christopher Curren) is getting better and Isael (Guerrez) is the man. He is again my MVP in the back.”

The Roadrunners host Cumberland University (TN) Friday night at Lakeshore Park. Action will begin at 7:00 p.m.
