  • Wednesday, August 26, 2015

The Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park will host the Mountain Arts and Craft Celebration amidst the autumn foliage atop Lookout Mountain Nov. 7-8.

This family-friendly event offers over 100 exhibitors displaying arts and crafts for sale, as well as music and spoken word performances.  Food vendors will offer snacks and full meals. Kids will enjoy the many activities including crafts, inflatables, petting zoo and more.

The Celebration, now in its third year, is expected to welcome nearly 10,000 people in 2015.

Those who bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Tri-State Food Pantry will receive a free door prize entry.

The celebration will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day at Cloudland Canyon State Park, 122 Canyon Park Road in Rising Fawn.

Admission is $5 per vehicle for the state park entrance fee.  Admission to the celebration is $3 per person, ages 13 and over.  All profits from the celebration are used for the direct benefit and support of Cloudland Canyon State Park.

Parking is free. Handicap and “need assistance” parking will be available close to the entrance.
Shuttles are available from the parking area to the entrance.

Exhibitors rated the Celebration "an outstanding success" for the past two years – many are returning for the third time to participate in this juried show.  Those wishing to exhibit are encouraged to register early to guarantee a spot:  at  http://mountainartsandcraftcelebration.com/wp/registration-page/
