Charles “Ray” Greene, of Athens, Tennessee, died on Monday, August 24, 2015.
Ray worked for 20 years at Johnson Controls in Athens. He enjoyed hot rod cars, driving the many scenic country roads, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Rae Greene; and two sisters, Tammy Reiser and Melissa Thompson.
Ray is survived by his father, Charles J. Greene; his children, Devin Greene, Autumn (Aaron) Cogdill and Candace (Justin) Taylor; his brother, Jeff Greene; and 13 grandchildren.
A celebration of life service is planned for Sunday Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Church of God at McMinn County on 2228 County Road 561. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior, from 6-7 p.m.
