VFW Post 4848 Commander Alan Syler said the current headquarters at 1491 Riverside Dr. have been sold, but the post is still open.
He said, "VFW Post 4848 has been sold to the owners of the Boathouse.
"We are currently researching available properties to serve as our new post. We will continue at our old location until a new location has been found.
"VFW Post 4848 is still in business."
