Sydney Patton won the Powell Doubles Flight at the Elon Invitational on Sunday. The Mocs wrapped up play in the three-day tournament by splitting their last two doubles matches.
Storie and Patton defeated a mixed team that included UTC freshman
McKenzie Barco and Furman's Blair Martin. Storie and Patton won the match 8-6.
Storie took on Emory's Bridget Harding in the back draw of the Phoenix Bracket. Storie won that match (6-0, 2-6, 1-0 (8)), despite trailing 8-6 in the final frame.

Rachele Gazzola lost in the consolation finals of the Acorn Doubles Flight. They battled in a 9-8 (3) loss to Western Carolina's Shannon Bettiol and Elizabeth Ansari.
